Raj bhog: Malleswaram Restaurant offers Gold Dosa and Silver Dosa

Bangalore based restaurant Raj Bhog introduced Gold Dosa to its customers, last week. This has created  tremendous response. Initially they were expected a daily sale 2 or 3 Dosas but there was a sale of 32 Dosas in a fortnight. They were providing 101 varieties in Dosa along with other usual South Indian  dishes.

Recently I made a visit with family and very much  enjoyed their hospitality. In the mean time of preparation, they also served a nice soup. Asked about preparation. They told that they after usual method of making, the 'Masala dosa' will be finally wrapped by a Golden foil. The quality of the Gold is 24 karat, which measures 12 cm x 12 cm in size and 0.01 mm in thick and approximately a milligram. Finally the Dosa came with well garnished with varieties of chutney.

The Gold Dosa is available at a price of  Rs.1,011
They are selling Silver Dosa also for Rs.150

Bangalore is one of the new frontiers of luxury and somehow need to meet the new demands of Indians, even at the table.
