Get Court case Status through SMS

Want to know the status of your case filed in the high court or circuit benches at Dharwad and Gulbarga? Now, just an SMS will give you this information.
    By sending an SMS, you can get information regarding application filed for certified copy of the orders and judgments and the current case being heard in a court hall.
    If you want to know a case status, create a message like this: KARHCCS and send it to 9212357123. The case year should be four digits and Bench shold be B, D or G .
    “The case display system is currently not available at the circuit benches but will be provided soon,” Chandrashekar Joshi, central programme coordinator of the high court told reporters.
    The high court has installed four information kiosks at the Principal Bench in Bangalore and two each at circuit benches at Dharwad and Gulbarga to provide information to advocates and the litigant public. The facility is being provided with technical assistance of NIC Bangalore and SMS gateway is provided by NIC, New Delhi. “An application has been developed by NIC Bangalore to use unmanned, touch screen information kiosk which provides all information regarding status of a case,” R B Budihal, registrar general, high court, said.
